Fullmoon

Last night some of my friends and I hiked a local mountain and view the full moon. It is always amazing to see the town you live in at night, especially from the top of a mountain. Looking down on Durango, from that mountain I thought “man this place looks small.” And then I started to think how God work in amazing ways even at night. I mean night give you a different perspective on how you see the world. When I travel I always like coming into a place at night. This might seem weird, but viewing a place at night adds a lot of mystery to what the place has to offer. The streets are quite sometimes all you can here is the buzz of electricity flowing from one place to another. Things just feel more alive at night.

Summertime!

May 13, 2006 · Leave a Comment

Ah, summer is almost here. The Major League Baseball season in full swing. Baseball is one of my favorite sports. Some would say that it is a boring sport. I say the opposite it is a game of anticipation. Some of my favorite memories growing up were going to baseball games. Although I was never that good at the sport (I was the kid that the coach always put in right field) I enjoy it wholeheartedly.

I had a lot of favorite teams growing up. It always seemed like I had a new favorite team each year. Living in
Colorado the past few years I have followed the Colorado Rockies. Although the
Rockies have not had that much success as far as making the playoffs. But this year might be an exception. The Rocks are tied for 1st place in the National League West, the west is not the strongest division in baseball, but you have to give props to the rocks. This is one of their best starts in as long as I can remember. So this summer "Take Me Out to the Ball Game."
